Sponsorship Update - September 2015

February - September 2015

Dear Anna,

Well, it’s been a long school year here in Huaraz, but we’ve had a lovely dry season of sunshine and outdoor activities. We would like to apologise for taking so long to send you an official update as we know it’s been a while now.

Lenin is doing well and working hard, as usual. He is now coming to the final half of his fifth year of
Primary school. He continues to be smiley, energetic, helpful and polite everyday of the week. He is a an extremely cheeky little character and is always an absolute delight to see in the morning when he's at Seeds. He loves to play various games like marbles and football whenever he gets the chance. He's also very fond of music and can often be found glued to the computer and playing various songs and singing along with his friends!

Thanks to you and your generosity, Seeds of Hope was able to outfit Lenin with all of the supplies and uniforms necessary to attend public school - for this we are grateful.

As you probably remember, Lenin continues to practice good attendance, working diligently during his time at Seeds. He does require a bit of additional attention at times and support to ensure that he completes his tarea.

Thank you for ongoing support!

January - April 2014 Update & Photo Gallery

Dear Anna,

Now that Spring has sprung….wait, it is actually the beginning of the Winter season here in the Southern Hemisphere even though it feels like Spring with the sunny mornings and the late afternoons showers.

The sun has started to shine a bit longer and the flowers are in bloom. With this new season brings a new school year. Lenin recently started a new school year and is now in Grade 4 of Primary School.

Thanks to you and your generosity, Seeds of Hope was able to outfit Lenin with all of the supplies and uniforms necessary to attend public school - for this we are grateful. (public schools here require two uniforms.)

As you probably remember, Lenin continues to practice good attendance, working diligently during his time at Seeds. Lenin does require a bit of additional attention and support to ensure that he completes his tarea.

Thank you for your continued support with Lenin!

Kindly,
Seeds of Hope

  1. Lacy! I'm so sorry I missed this email coming in - I only found it when I was searching for your email address in my inbox to send you the email I just sent you. Thanks so much for sending the update and the photo blog, it's really lovely to see Lenin's smiley face, I miss those kids!

And the family resemblence of his younger siblings (?) is uncanny... future Seeds students hopefully.

So nice to hear the news, thanks again and well done for compiling all of this, looks great
